What is the Law of giving:
The Law of giving says the more you give of yourself without expectation of return, the more that will come back to you. Many people expect similar return when they give away to someone; but this seldom happens. When you give someone either of your time, money, or emotion, it bring you good usually from a different person.
“In a universe where the most absolute truth is that of oneness, you cannot ever take, without taking from yourself. And you cannot give without giving to yourself. That is why those who give, get back and those who take, are taken from – Teal Scott
In his books, Seven Laws of Spiritual laws of success, Deepak Chopra stated that the intention should be to create happiness for the giver and receiver, because happiness is life-supporting and life-sustaining. If you want joy, give joy to others; if you want love, learn to give love; if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation; if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent. In fact, the easiest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want.
However, remember that giving and receiving is not about money or materials only. You can also give in kind such as free service to the less privilege, your community, religious house, school etc. It also includes giving help to your colleagues in office, classmates without expectation of receiving part of their salary. The important starting point is your intention and ability. “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ― Mother Teresa
Many holy books have discussed about the law of giving and their believers are required to give in the way of God without expecting any return from the receiver. Let me share with you few lines from two Holy Books:
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. – Luke 6:38
Those who spend their wealth in the way of God and do not follow up their spending by stressing their benevolence and causing hurt, will find their reward secure with their Lord. They have no cause for fear and grief……………… –Suratul Baqarah: 262-265
So, remember the law of giving and understand that given to someone will not make you poor. Winston Churchill said: “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
spending and giving to others in need brings out an internal satisfaction in you, a happiness in you when you see the beautiful smile on their face. i believe one should always help the poor and needy
